When you eat is as important, or more important than what you eat. They say, “you should eat breakfast like a king”. That does not mean you overeat and splurge till you can’t get off the chair! 

 When you ‘break the fast’ (meaning take your breakfast) ensure that it’s a nutritionally balanced meal, that provides the energy for the day. It’s been suggested that you consume one-third of your daily calories intake in the morning.  

Mapillai Champa Paneer Bhurji Dosa – it’s simple, delicious and kick started our day. The burji is delicious North Indian breakfast recipe and we tossed in the crumbled paneer, herbs and spices over the dosa and served it. To give it that tangy southern flavour, we liberally coated the dosa with a mint and coriander chutney. 

A versatile recipe and you can play with flavors, add vegetables, cheese and even try it with different dosa batters. A flavourful meal to kick start the week!
